Really nice jacket and lots

I just received this jacket and am planning to take it with me in late summer at the 69th parallel where temperatures range from 45 to 60 degrees. So I need a combination of warmth and water repellency. I ordered L and it fits as expected - I'm borderline between M and L but I have a large top, it was NOT too tight with the lining and no looseness. It fits easily as a pure rain jacket or on colder days with a long-sleeved shirt and both parts. I was hesitant to buy the fig color for fear it would be too purple, but it's a beautiful maroon and the eyeliner is a beautiful muted red. At $90, it was a pretty good deal for an NF jacket and half the retail price in other stores. ALSO it's worth noting that the outer fabric is smooth, no texture - some other jackets (green and white) have a textured fabric which makes them look more like a windbreaker - it doesn't and looks like a very nice garment.

Pros
  • VERSATILITY ON THE ROAD. Never stop moving forward with thoughtful features: both the inner and outer jacket have closed pockets with secure zippers and elasticated hems for optimal comfort.
Cons
  • Electrical outlet required
