I canceled HP's Instant Ink Service (long story) and wanted to use remanufactured cartridges. Unfortunately, both sets of cartridges were defective. In the latter case, they were misaligned, resulting in sloppy printing and/or the printer just wouldn't print at all: I kept getting error messages telling me to realign the cartridges by removing and reseating them. Since it didn't work, I had to return the item.
