For the past few years I've used one of those juicers where you mash a lemon on a protruding handle and then manually rotate the lemon back and forth. (I can't think of a name for such a juicer.) This worked fine for me, but a crack was forming, so I figured it was time for a new juicer. I wanted to try this because it looks easier and I expected it to be able to squeeze out all the juice. Unfortunately it isn't. When the top lever is pushed down there is too much space between the two parts and therefore not enough pressure can be applied to release all the juice. It's a shame to spend money. I am reusing my broken juicer and will replace it with the same type of juicer.
