I bought a 24V turbine to integrate with an existing solar system. The turbine works and generates electricity; In moderate winds, which are not considered extreme in our area (less than 10 miles per hour), it produces 20-50 watts of electricity according to the schedule provided by Pikasola. That's a small amount, but it's more than 24 hours and a good complement to the solar system, as there is little solar energy generated in our area when it's windy. The controller box is a bit finicky as it has to figure out for itself whether to output 12 or 24 volts depending on which turbine is connected. The first unit we received blocked at 12 volts and we had to replace it with another unit that put out 24 volts. I have to acknowledge the excellent customer support I was provided throughout the process. I'll keep experimenting with this turbine and see if I can fully integrate it into my solar system. Again, customer support is very active, which really sets Pikasola apart from the competition.
