I feel it necessary to express my deep disappointment with this Corsair memory kit. I brought a bunch of 2x2Gb. I noticed that my computer was becoming unstable, so I ran a test and found that one of the memories was causing the instability. I ran memtest86+ to confirm this. The memory is repackaged for return, RMA offers to return the memory as a set so I'm sending both chips back. Half a month later I received my memories. I reinstalled the memory and expected it wouldn't be a problem, but found my system crashing again. I downloaded memtest86+ to see what the problem was, after about 10 seconds it gave me 10,000 errors. Even the original memory I got back never had that many errors. I checked the memories one by one again and found that the error was in one of the memories. Now I have to prepare myself to pay another postage and wait another half month to get another replacement which may or may not work. Luckily I have a set of reliable OCZ memory modules, although they are older and cheaper they have never had reliability issues with them. My final takeaway: avoid Corsair memory like the plague and the lifetime warranty won't be as clean if they keep shipping you out with faulty replacement parts. I have two Corsair PSUs that have worked great, but their memory is a whole different issue. Just for reference, I didn't overclock the memory, I just ran it at the default 800MHz system clock.
