Not bad. - Camera cases

Almost got it back. In fact, I started the process twenty minutes after it arrived and then felt like I didn't really give the bag a chance (you think so? LOL). So she's mine. I still have a few days left but I'll skip it and if I decide I don't like it I'll give it away for free. I also looked at the Lowepro ProTactic 450 AW. He lost because there was no room for "nonsense". ;-) It's good for small devices. But I wanted something that could also carry my wallet, keys, sunglasses and whatever I need for the day off. That doesn't happen with this one. So with that. It's not bad. I'm sure part of the problem is that I'm just not used to it. I've been using the same Tamrac for 16 years now. yes 16 years old And it already has over 1 million miles. It was all over the world and then on boats, planes, trains and cars. In good weather and in bad weather. But they stopped making this bag many years ago, so the search continued. (It shows its age. But I've continued to use it, even though I've outgrown it.) Part of the challenge is finding a bag that fits in a Pro (Series 1) or semi-Pro case. Housing (series 5) with a fits handle. attached lens. Once THE problem is solved, it's time to see what fits. This is of course completely subjective and depends on what you want or want to throw away. For typical "everyday" gear I carry a body, a flash, and three lenses. (16-35 2.8, 24-70 2.8 and 70-200 2.8). This covers most of what I would need for a regular day cam. I also pack a few filters, extra batteries and the usual in a bag, as well as a laptop or iPad Pro. And yes, everything fits. (See attached photo, which also includes a pair of telephoto lenses (teleconverters) and a set of close-up rings. Phew. LOL So what's the deal? Camera (which btw comes out of the side hole just fine) instead, no matter what's in there. there's a definite sound of the velcro coming undone when trying to pull something out. No idea how long that lasts. When it's set up with extra lenses underneath. well let's just say it doesn't inspire a lot of confidence and the thought of my bag' "putting it hard" on the lenses makes me shudder. "Upper" area. The zippers seem to work, although I'm not sure how long the cord/zip will stay attached. There's also a small accessory pouch is included , but it only gets in the way when you try to attach it I have a full size camera in my bag with the lens attached so there's a homeless guy sitting on my desk me I'm sure it will fit above. But it's just another flash and mostly pointless IMO. A nice addition for some, useless for me. It also includes a rain cover. Does Lowepro have a patent for raincoats? Serious. Why does everyone else think it's okay to have a cover that "folds" (folds) to the size of a grown man's fist and takes up space? It will likely end up in a bag for the homeless. I am sure they will be very happy together. LOL And those bottle holders on the side.? They are short and look skinny to me. That's normal for 500 ml, but nothing more. I'm not sure how long it will take for them to loosen up and just smack. So yeah, not a terrible bag overall. My 3021 legs are still going strong after over two decades and I can't imagine not having a set of Super Clamps. The support/handle mechanism they have, the pockets, not quite yet, for ME. YMMV Just because I don't like it doesn't mean you won't like it. You just have to know that he has flaws. Or more precisely, what I consider a disadvantage. Oh yeah I just ordered a Tamrac Anvil 27 for when I need to carry a different body and a few more lenses. We shall soon see how this happens. ;-) If you fit two more lenses and one more body, you're done. (The US Army seems happy with this.) My lighting gear is in separate cases anyway.
