I bought these pink glitter bottoms to wear under my belly dance costume. They resemble the material of a bathing suit and are lined. They look exactly like the photo, but are "shinier" than the photos on the computer monitor. They have a glossy appearance so when the light shines on them you see tiny flecks/shades of pink and teal. They are very sweet. I usually wear plus size pants (size 10) and I went for a medium/large size with 36ft hips and they fit perfectly. If you are a bit taller I would suggest increasing the size as the parts that cover certain areas are not as wide. The straps are very comfortable and don't roll, move or dig into my skin. They're not see-through, but I don't know how true that is when they get wet. And they don't seem to crawl into unwanted places, so that's a plus!
