Review on 💄 Zadro Satin Nickel Dual-Sided Vanity Mirror with 10X/1X Magnification by Vanessa Szymanski

Years ago I bought a Zadro makeup mirror with light and magnification. This one used neon lights, but it was wonderful. Recently the wiring in the base blew when I turned on the mirror (I'm so thankful it happened the moment I turned it on and not later when I might have left the room). It crackled and smoked, and I was able to unplug it from the wall before any damage was done except to the mirror. I immediately ordered a new mirror without thinking of anything other than Zadro because I was so happy with the first one (except fire of course!). This new mirror is almost useless to me. It uses LED lighting, which I consider a plus compared to other LED lights we have, but the lighting around the perimeter of the mirror is so dim it's useless. I had to put the lamp on the table next to the mirror to be able to use it. The worst thing was that I recommended the Zadro vanity mirror to my sister who was looking for a gift for her sister-in-law because of my other mirror, and she also ordered one for herself. I feel terrible that she wasted her money and probably regret giving this as a gift. I am a regular customer at Zadro. Unfortunately I will now be looking elsewhere for a replacement for a mirror I have only had for a very short time. What I would give to keep the old one.
