Review on Delta Children Compact Travel Bassinet by Heidi Harter

We've been using this bassinet for 3 weeks now and there are a lot of things we love about it, but there's also one important thing we've overlooked. The baby bath has a zipper to close the lid, which is not only too slow but also too loud in an emergency; I'm not saying this zip is a problem, but it's just that the zip in general was a bad choice. When trying to close the top, the zipper not only makes noise but also generates enough vibrations that seem to wake our child up every time. Another minor issue is that the lid often falls into the carrycot, making it difficult to transfer a sleeping baby to another surface unaided or first. To solve the zipper issue, we closed the zipper just half an inch and then covered the remaining opening with a light blanket. This made it easier for us to access it quickly when needed. If they designed it differently, I would recommend soft fabric covered magnets. All in all it's not the worst thing in the world just a couple of big issues which if solved would easily make this a 5 star item everyone should have for their newborn.
