I bought this stove because it includes an automatic lighting device so it can be out in the windy Icelandic tundra can used. Start should be fast. Boiled water very, very quickly. When the legs are folded, it is stable. It weighs almost nothing. We've cooked two full meals with boiling water and then fried an entire can of Spam, and I don't feel like the fuel tank is noticeably lower than when new so it doesn't absorb gas. My rating of this oven is three thumbs up! $17 and you're set for your bike stove (on the back).
