Review on Electric Portable Quick Fill Rechargeable Inflatable by Ronald Wheeler

Save time on air mattresses and accessories

Purchased to speed up the preparation of the AE inflatable kayak. I used nylon tubing and a PVC fitting to connect one of the adapters to the AE military screw adapter on the kayak. For the price, I expected it to be loud, only fire a few times before charging, and last as long as manually pumping a kayak. I was wrong on all counts. It's not quiet, but it's quieter than a vacuum or any inflator I've had before. It can't pressurize some kayak chambers to 2psi, but that's great for me as there's no risk of overinflating it. But it quickly blows a huge amount of air. The outer chamber fills up in a few seconds and the boat takes shape before moving on to other chambers. After 2-3 minutes all I have to do is use the hand pump and AE meter a few times to pump the two chambers to the correct pressure. And it will do this over a dozen times before reloading. I want it to go to a slightly higher pressure and I want it to have an adjustable pressure cut off to stop at exactly 1 or 2 psi. But inflators with these characteristics are huge, noisy, slow, and cost $100 to $200. It's easier to carry around and just helps me get on the water faster.
