Screw Keeps Snapping

I used it on a piece of wood I was trying to fasten and the screw keeps breaking off halfway. There is no way to drill a hole as the screw itself is too small. I don't recommend if you want to use even a slightly hard material, the metal is too soft and will eventually break.
