I've been buying JVC Marshmallow headphones for years. They fail every 6-8 months, first one kidney dies, then another. But the comfort, price, and decent sound quality had me coming back every time a pair broke. Now JVC has "upgraded" the headphones to do this, and the cable is about an inch shorter. This makes it impossible for me to carry my phone in my back pocket like I always do. The short cord pulls on the headphones, constantly pulling them out of your ears. Now not only do I have to expect them to break after a few months, but I also feel very uncomfortable wearing them. Terrible, why shorten the cable like JVC? Because of your terrible design decision I have stopped buying them and do not recommend them to anyone.
