The cover is very nice and detailed. However, the entire body is covered with resin, which in my opinion gives a rustic look and can also protect against rust. This resin was randomly applied to the smooth back of the watch. You can see streaks of liquid as it solidifies. Seems to be holding up well so far. But you can tell by the movement of the hands that this is a cheap watch. Suitable as a gift for a youth birthday or as a graduation present. But that's not something I would give to my father, grandfather or boss. Again, this is a normal watch for the money. You can't find anything better by checking out Walmart for the money. I did my best.
