I hate returns with Revain and have already thrown away the boxes otherwise I would return them in a heartbeat as they are SO disappointing! I bought this kit and a set of four headlights from Sengled. I'm writing this to help someone who was experiencing a similar frustration as it took weeks to contact Sengled support and they were no help and I couldn't find anything to answer my questions online. up is fine the first time you use it, but if you're like me you probably screwed in the bulbs first, then opened the app to add them. Because that's what every other company's lightbulbs do! Pooh. What you need to know is that to connect you need to scan a small QR code that is on the bulb itself. So that meant filming and scanning them individually. It is not so easy! This is my little lifehack for you to use while setting up. After scanning the QR code, gently and gently remove the QR code sticker from the light bulb and apply it to your phone while walking down the stairs. Clean the end of the code to keep it from wrinkling. Do this for each lightbulb in the order of the stickers. Then apply these stickers to your hub, write on them and seal them with a piece of clear tape. Then, if the power goes out, which is inevitable, or the WiFi router resets, which also inevitably happens, and you inevitably lose connection with your light bulbs, you can simply remove them from the sengled app and scan the QR codes again , without having to climb and unscrew the bulbs to scan again! Be sure to space the stickers some distance apart so you can scan one at a time - if they're too close, only the top one in the window will be read. Sometimes I could click after I lost connection and they would reconnect, but other times they wouldn't and they would stay offline until you rescanned. Always keep the light off while scanning. When you're ready to connect, toggle the switch on and off 10 times very quickly. You will see all the lights blink 5 times. If you don't see all the lights blinking, you need to turn them off for a while and then try clicking again. Don't believe the app when it says to go into pairing mode on their own - click. This is the only way to ensure that they are in pairing mode. Lots and lots of eye rolls from the idiots who designed this system. I will replace it soon once I have enough money for a new set.
