I am a card maker. I used to buy glitter paper and the glitter rubs off or falls off. This can upset the recipient, especially men. It does not fade or fade at all. This is a very fine glitter on just one side of the paper that will do. It's only 40 lb paper, so it's best suited as a backing or embellishment. I first backed it up with 65lb paper when I wanted to use a large text stamp with it. It is beautiful - very shiny silver. The back is smooth and looks a bit like thin photo paper. I use it now for Christmas cards. I would get it again.
