Suddenly fell off the wall
The shelf itself is very strong but the attachment is questionable. Both shelves were set at the same height in my child's nursery to hold a couple of small stuffed animals that were clearly a lot lighter than books, but one of the shelves fell off the wall and hit the edge of the changing table. Somehow both metal plates with a hole cut in the wood just came off with no explanation. So the equipment stayed in the wall and the wooden shelf on the floor. Scary way to wake up this morning! I am considering removing the second remaining shelf. Nice shelf but consider reinforcing it yourself.
