Update: I got a reply from the company and they gave me a chunky English like reply that they couldn't provide a replacement and would have to wait a month. So we just brought it back to Amazon. My advice is to inspect the damper before installing it. Customer service is non-existent. It looks good and the sash seems to work properly. That's a beautiful door. We had a hard time installing this item because we had a metal door, but that's just our situation. The only thing that bothers me is that the hatch is crooked, letting in a strong draft. It connected our garage to our house, and it's cold in our garage. Very frustrating because that's why I chose this door. Also there are no magnets on the valve as stated in the description. I contacted the seller to see if I can get a new valve. So let's see what comes of it. Not that I could send it back for valve replacement and leave a huge hole in our door. So we became a bit dissatisfied. Update: No response from seller yet. I really need a new valve because it's practically useless with all the cold it lets through. Very upset.
