For many, many years of transcription, I have used many, many different headphones - ordinary on the head (for music), under the chin, in-ear headphones - from many, many different manufacturers. I used the cheapest to the most expensive. These headphones are designed specifically for transcribers and are by far the best I've ever used. Working from home, I'm blessed with numerous distractions throughout the day, from TV to pets. With them I hear absolutely nothing except what I record. It helps a lot to focus without getting distracted by anything. I would highly recommend these headphones (in-ear) to any professional writer. As a side note, although I didn't pay extra for overnight or 2 day shipping, I received these headphones two days after ordering, although I wasn't expecting them for 7-10 days. Very impressed with this product and company.
