Review on iUniker Raspberry Pi 4 Case with Cooling Fan & Heatsink - Complete Protection for Pi 4 Model B by Shawn Vennakota

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Idle Temperature: 37 C with Rasp Pi 4

TL;DR. All in all for $11 quite happy with the purchase. The product has a pretty good finish, it works well and I have no complaints. with fan on low speed. At this speed, the fan can't be heard more than a foot away. At high speed, the idle temp was oddly constant at 40C. I assume this is because running the fan itself adds some heat. I haven't tested it under load, but I assume higher fan speed is better under load. It's also a little louder as I can hear it from several feet away. Case I just received the product, so I just think the following. The plastic case doesn't interfere with the WiFi connection, unlike some metal cases. The workmanship is also quite good, there are no sharp edges on the case itself. It actually looks and feels pretty good, it fits snugly around all ports and on closer inspection looks very natural around USB ports, not quite the same for micro HDMI ports but how often do you want the case look closely? The instruction manual is not just ordinary paper, but a synthetic form common to instruction manuals. It has fairly easy-to-read sections on installing heatsinks and using a fan properly. It should be noted that the manual itself does not specify using screws to attach the Rasp Pi to the bottom of the case, and it is worth noting that the kit includes 5 screws of each type instead of 4. Which is nice. The manual also says there's a 12-month guarantee if you email them, although you haven't tried it.
