Simply put, they outperform my other Klipsch S4s. R6, R6II and X6. And they should, as they rank higher in the product range than others. I think the upside is the under $200 price point, the performance upgrade is well worth the extra bucks over the smaller models. Two notes about this and every Klipsch earphone. 1) Don't assume that the same elliptical Klipsch ear tips as other Klipsch headphones will fit in your ears on this model. Because Klipsch packed an extra driver, they're the bulkiest of the bunch. While the size doesn't cause any discomfort, it does change how the headphones fit in your ears, so you'll need to try a few different headphone tips that Klipsch gives to find the right fit.2) Like almost all Klipsch headphones, in the cold weather (near freezing or below) the headphone cables become stiff and brittle. I have yet to break mine outside in the cold, but I'll be careful and route the wires inside my coat.
