This little speaker is amazing! I bought this to add some sound to our new porch screen. Our friends (and I) love how quickly it connects to our devices via Bluetooth! Both iPhone and Android connect easily. The sound is incredible. I did a blind side-by-side sound test on our very expensive Bose speaker system, and most of my friends found this little armor even better. Bose's base could have been a bit deeper and had more range, but the armor has reasonable range and base. PLUS the Armor's sound was sharper and crisper than the Bose. It charges quickly from my computer using the included USB cable, or from an outlet using an Android mini USB charger. I'll provide an update on the battery life later when I've had a chance to fully charge the device a few times. However, I can't get over the sound! The other day someone put it on the ground under a picnic table on the porch and everyone who came to my party thought I installed an outdoor surround sound system (sound comes from both sides of the speaker). The fact that it's waterproof means I can take it to the pool, boat or beach too. I am very happy with this purchase! Updated 8/6/15. After completely draining the battery, I fully charged it overnight and today it was able to play for 3 hours and 40 minutes at a fairly loud volume. There's no battery indicator on the speaker, so I can't tell when it's charged and when it's not. It just didn't work anymore. This is one of the downsides when you want to "take it with you" to use with your phone at the beach or on a boat and don't remember when it was last charged. However, keep in mind that you will most likely not get more than 3.5 hours of music playback on a single charge.
