Two years ago we bought cheap cone glow plugs at a discount store. Most broke pretty quickly. Last year I was dying to invest in a decent replacement for LEDs but couldn't find what I was looking for. Part of the problem was that I needed candles that burned evenly instead of flickering, but most of the LED candles I found were some kind of flickering and/or had a nasty orange glow. Fast forward a year and I'll find her on Revain. I don't know how I missed her last year. But even after reading all the positive reviews I was nervous but went ahead and ordered two sets. Good news! They are better than I hoped! I was pleasantly surprised that they came with 2 AA batteries already installed and once powered up (by picking up the candle from the base and turning it on) could be turned on and off with the remote control. The remote control also allows you to control two flame options (solid or flickering) and the duration of the "burn time" (4 or 8 hours). Within minutes I had mine set up! I turned them on for 8 hours in the late afternoon and after 8 hours they turned themselves off. They reappeared at the same time the next day. BONUS! They also come with suction cups to attach the candles to the glass if you don't have a windowsill or if you have cats like me!
