I didn't know what I would think of a rice cooker, but I've seen several recipes that didn't include rice but were cooked in a rice cooker. They are more versatile than I thought. I like it! It's so easy and it's better than rice I cook on the stovetop and a million times better than instant rice. About 10 minutes before the rice is ready, that wonderful smell comes out. Like rice but better than ever the smell of rice in the history of rice cooking. It's a shame I didn't buy a rice cooker sooner. If I had known I would have done it.
