THE BEST! in kitchen & dining room

We already have a rice cooker of a famous Japanese brand several times. The inner pot started peeling and fell into the cooked rice. Heard a lot of good things about Cuckoo and decided to give it a try since it was on sale. Result. Oh God! The rice turned out delicious! It's multifunctional. You will not regret it!

This device is worth the space.

I didn't know what I would think of a rice cooker, but I've seen several recipes that didn't include rice but were cooked in a rice cooker. They are more versatile than I thought. I like it! It's so easy and it's better than rice I cook on the stovetop and a million times better than instant rice. About 10 minutes before the rice is ready, that wonderful smell comes out. Like rice but better than ever the smell of rice in the history of rice cooking. It's a shame I didn't buy a rice cooker…

The metal inside the pan has melted!

I bought this rice cooker in May 2018 and noticed that the metal on the metal pan in the pressure cooker was starting to corrode. It looks like what was covered in the pot is starting to melt. I've owned several rice cookers and have never come across anything like this. I'm not sure when this started because once the rice is in the pot you can't tell the difference between the material the rice was exposed to in the pot. I have contacted Cuckoo directly but have not yet received an answer. The

Excellent rice cooker. on rice cookers

This Cuckoo rice cooker is way better than the $20 cookers I've had in the past. From the first batch the rice was moist, soft and perfectly cooked. While I'm not a rice lover, this cooker does a damn good job at this price point. Installation and use is easy thanks to the included instructions. The inner bowl has a solid weight with a high-quality non-stick coating. The buttons are comfortable and intuitive. The device is heat-saving and keeps the rice very warm for over an hour without using…

Not as good as other cuckoos.

My friend has this: https://www.amazon.com/Cuckoo-Electric-Heating-Cooker-CR-0631/dp/B007D5J6AK (model CR-0631) and it keeps rice warm/fresh inside up to 2 weeks. I bought this one (CR-0655F) thinking it would be the same. But that's not the case. It only keeps the rice for 2-3 days before the rice starts to brown and become dry. Still edible, but not as fresh as the pink cuckoo mentioned above. Plus, it takes forever to cook—at least 25 minutes for just one bowl of rice. Turbo mode saves a…

Made in China. suitable for small appliances

As a Korean, I eat rice every day and I know that Cuckoo is the best brand of rice cooker. I've been using this brand my whole life, my mother too. But I never knew there was a Chinese made version and that's why it was so cheap. I had to check twice. It has a "turbo" cook function that my old puck used to cook 10 cups of rice in 20 minutes. But it takes forever to "quick cook" 3 cups of rice. So what's the point of having a quick cook function if it's just 4-5 minutes faster than usual? (45-50

What a wonderful car!

Advantages: High quality materials and design. Simple and easy to use. It makes delicious rice. Looks good on a tabletop. Cons: Easily slides onto the countertop with the push of a button. The Korean-English translations in the owner's manual are often amusing but confusing. The first thing that struck me when I took out the inner pot was its weight. It has a certain weight. My old rice cooker had a very thin (and very light) metal inner bowl. In fact, it was so thin that the rice often burned…

Hyundai Elantra rice cooker.

Yes, it is made in China, of course, the pot lid does not seem durable. And it takes almost an hour to cook half a portion of rice. But there is such a price. As a Korean, I really appreciate this stove as an ideal entry-level stove. I've been using for almost a year. And the pot lid was scratched by several mistakes (not using a dish sponge (!?), putting metal utensils in the pot, etc. etc.). However, the coating turned out to be quite durable. If you are all looking for a real stone inner…
