Won't buy these flimsy filters again

I checked the filter after two weeks and found it was literally sucked into the block. I was able to pull it down and pull it out and put the second one in, thinking it was a fluke. When I checked it the next day, the same. These 3m should be the same brand I buy from Home Depot but the ones I buy in the store are not flimsy and I've never had this problem. Once caught, never again! Strongly NOT recommended.

Good product / bad packaging

The product appears to be legal and is expected to work as expected, however it arrived with packaging crushed on one end. Ordered for a family member, I traveled a long way to get it installed, but didn't know it was like this until I got there. one installed. I threw another one out. There was no way to send it back for a refund. It was packaged in a flat shipping box that couldn't help but be crushed. villain. These things are pretty fragile. Spring.

Read my post! You will not regret it!

They match our air conditioner but in the course of research I found out that the MPR 1900 filters 0.3 microns, the same characteristics as the N95! Also from 3M. Coincidence? Lowe wears this filter. I bought a 16x30 and 16" became 80". If you make a standard 9" x 9" cut, you can make masks quickly. 10 minutes for that. Be sure to install a 5 inch soft nose bridge. They can be made with a sewing machine and/or a glue gun, or both. We made a bunch and gave them away. Our church makes them.

The perfect balance between airflow and cleanliness.

Excellent filter. After speaking to the HVAC technician who services my system, I feel comfortable using the 1000 as it balances airflow and cleanliness. Pros - collects dust, dander and cat hair (3 cats) - lasts 2 to 3 months - arrow clearly indicates which way to insert the filter (arrow points towards the firebox) Cons - filters are not individually wrapped (unused filters are stored in the garage where they can get dirty before use) If the review helped, like it.

4.6 stars for a good reason! I bet 5!

A 4.6 is pretty good, I put 5! I recently installed a new central air conditioner, I even forgot to put a new filter in it. Like 3 dogs at home and someone with horrible sinuses (2 surgeries to open them) I'm doing my best to breathe easy. An air ionizer, an air purifier from Honeywell, and I was wondering why my sinuses started acting up at night. old filter! Came straight home today, replaced the old one (covered in layers or dust and hair and stuff) and put the new one in. After a good 5-6…

Used to be a good filter

I have a piece of cardboard on my kettle. I wrote DON'T BUY it. This is a different brand of filters. When I used this brand, the cardboard frame softened and the partially pleated filter was almost impossible to remove from the duct. During the removal/destruction of the filter, a large amount of dust got into the air duct and was carried back into the house. Now 3M/Filtrete have switched to these cheap cardboard frames which make removing the filter almost impossible and causing dust to build

Clean filters make your home a lot nicer

On a scale of 1 to 10 for filter density, it's a 5. And I really like that! Expensive filters that are very hard/tight can cause your HVAC system to work harder to draw in air. They filter out what you expect and let air through with no problem. I change my filters every month during the summer months and as needed during the winter months. As your windows get older, more particles will enter your home, resulting in your filters needing to be replaced more often. I've used cheap filters, the…

Must-Have for Pet Owners

We live in a household that can only be described as having too many pets. I mean, WE certainly wouldn't describe it that way, but many would. We have 4 cats and 2 dogs and believe me pet hair and dander is a big problem. Combine this with the fact that the owner of the home is, sincerely, allergic to said hair and pet dander and it presents a complex problem. Filtrete Micro Allergen air filters are a godsend. We have a large house with two AC units, upstairs and downstairs. Pets tend to stay…
