As a Korean, I eat rice every day and I know that Cuckoo is the best brand of rice cooker. I've been using this brand my whole life, my mother too. But I never knew there was a Chinese made version and that's why it was so cheap. I had to check twice. It has a "turbo" cook function that my old puck used to cook 10 cups of rice in 20 minutes. But it takes forever to "quick cook" 3 cups of rice. So what's the point of having a quick cook function if it's just 4-5 minutes faster than usual? (45-50 minutes?) It does what it's supposed to do and keeps the rice fresh for days (Korean ones are usually good for up to 90 hours - I've tried). Overall it's ok for its price but I would consider this product as a second machine (in case I need to cook kalbi chim and rice at the same time in my big cuckoo etc.)
