later If you have an Aprilaire system that uses a 313 filter this is what you need. Buy a pair. Now that I've found them, I plan to swap them out just before summer in April and just before winter in November. Yes, this is Texas.

Fairly durable filter - it catches a lot of dust as it's thick. It would be wise to put 6 months from the date you posted it on your calendar so you can change it. Our heating company recommended it. I change it twice a year and it seems to help the heating/cooling systems.

Due to severe allergies and asthma we recently had our HVAC unit, ducts and vents completely replaced. The Healthy Home filter is what our manufacturer recommended for our new device. After replacing the air conditioner and using the Healthy Home filter, cases of allergies and asthma have decreased significantly. We will continue to use these Healthy Home filters as a replacement.

I bought this on the recommendation of the company that installed my new central air system. It was a great investment. I changed the filter today. I opened the lid, pulled out the old filter, opened the box and put in the new filter. Just make sure the airflow arrow is set correctly. The old filter was quite dirty, so it is safe to assume that this filter is collecting a lot of dust. Highly recommended

Don't know what's wrong with the last one we got. In just a few weeks, all sorts of dirt settles on the furniture. I went back up to the attic and checked the fit, the gasket around the block, the filter itself, the duct work etc and came up with "bap-kiss" to explain why this one is working so poorly. I won't buy another one so ahead of time next time - now I can't send it back.

I called my Trane dealer about a NEW system I bought just 3 months ago. They say to charge me $100. come out and the filter costs $85. So I told them no thanks and ordered this from Revain. THIS was a simple replacement. Exactly the same as the original that was present. I opened the door under the house at the heat pump. Simply pull out the old block and insert the new filter. Didn't even have to turn off the electricity. Easy task. I've done it myself.

This company has a stranglehold on this product as there is no competition at all. Of course I wouldn't want inferior quality even if it's cheaper, but if someone made a filter of the same quality cheaper I would never buy it again. Why is this filter so much more expensive than other types of filters? The material looks as simple as cotton or polyester. In any case, it lasts about a season and does what it's supposed to do, 3 stars for that.

Wow! They came in a thin box (as shown in the picture here if you are worried about how they will be shipped). This immediately gave them (ding) one star, then I opened the filter to find the filter in the box (boom) 2 stars. I bought 2 packs. So (boom) one more star, three in total.
