Whew, where should I begin. So these mounts have depth. You either have to rip open the drywall and stick it into the wall, or they will sit on top of the drywall. If they float on the drywall, the included screws are too short. At 1 and 1/4", they won't go through a standard 1.5" drywall to get to your rack. And if you want to fix the mirror to the drywall with a dowel, then that's pretty risky. Another option is to cut enough drywall to fit the wall, which I've done and it's quite messy, awkward, tricky, etc. Also, I now have a new mirror and need to take them out, in which case I do will have a 2" x 2" hole in the wall. Now I have to go to Sherwin Williams and have my paint color matched so I can move these things. Bow.
