I wanted this pen to basically randomly catch things while I'm out, I did it with this camera pen when I was journaling in my canoe! When I got home and uploaded a million photos that I couldn't stop on the lake, my first thought was how amazing this little thing takes photos! I am very impressed with the camera part of this pen. The other thing is the voice recording, totally my fault for the quality I got when I was through the pen in my purse during the trial 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ So leave it. Holding it in my hand or clipping it to a notebook, the quality was evident! Seriously, I'm very impressed with this product and am planning to buy another one for my "spying" daughter for Christmas.
