This camera is a simple fix for my overly finicky built-in camera in an aging laptop. If I didn't set up the lights in the room properly, they would go on and off during Zoom meetings. This solved the problem. I also used this on my desktop computer which didn't have a camera on the monitor and it allowed me to use non-green screen virtual backgrounds during Zoom meetings. We then decided to see if we could use this with our big screen TV and a room full of people on the phone and it worked better than expected! It covered our entire room and the picture was bright and crystal clear. I have recommended it to several other zoomers who have had issues with their camera. The microphone works great on it. Nobody had a problem hearing me on any of the calls and due to Covid I have a lot of Zoom calls. Another benefit is that since it's not pinned to your screen, you can tilt it slightly to give it a nicer angle. It can also be rotated so you can be on the side or in the middle of the frame, whichever works best.
