I bought this pillow based on the positive reviews. The pillow is marked as "Plus". For me the plush is soft and not very hard. In my experience, this pillow is very hard. I weigh 200 pounds and although my head pressed against the pillow a little, it was too hard and hurt my neck. The last night I slept on it I had to leave it in the middle of the night because it was too memorable for me. Everyone has their own personal situation so what doesn't work for me might work for you, but I think the description of this pillow shouldn't say it's plush because it's very hard. At least that was my experience. I am returning the pillow and will continue to look for a softer contour pillow.
