I am using this 2002 Polaris Sportsman 400 HO ATV. It doesn't cover the entire seat, but it does cover just enough so I don't sweat where I have to. I can even jump in shorts in the midday sun. I no longer have to take a towel with me. Warning: Unless you're wearing long shorts or cargo pants, the slightly abrasive mesh will quickly rub against your thighs. The straps are made of nylon, not cheap polypropylene, which will break down in a few months in the sun or in the heat. I appreciate it since he's not undercover in Phoenix, Arizona. I had to play around with the placement of the strap so it would sit where I wanted it and the fabric wouldn't crease. The straps are long enough to cross over if needed. I ended up routing the front strap around the front of the seat closer to the gas tank. I let it loose and tightened it as the seat snapped back into place. Center strap straight across, then back strap around outer flap. You just have to play around with it and find what works for you. It's a 2 ply thick mesh in the middle and both layers have a non slip mesh foam similar to what you use as shelf liners, it really stays in place if you still have vinyl on your seat. I haven't done day/night rides yet, but I speed through my neighborhood, we live in the country, I slide around corners, hop on rocks, and the seat cushion and I stop. There is a slight learning curve when drifting in a turn, instead of just pushing your body to balance you have to lift a little first. So far no complaints! Hope that was helpful, thanks!
