I have a dog and a cat that I bought very expensive flea chews for. You worked like that. I had to comb them out daily for fleas. The dog and cat were allergic to flea medication so I stopped using them. My cat is also allergic to fleas, he was scratching bloody holes on his throat and there was scabs on his back at the base of the tail. Emmett's dog has very short hair (a Shar-Pei/Dachshund mix) and was constantly biting, licking and balding. Luckily I stumbled upon these brewer's yeast tablets and with all the positive reviews I thought what the heck is cheaper than going to the vet. So I give a dog that weighs just under 30 pounds 6 pills a day and a cat that weighs about 15 lbs 2 pills. The dog loves them as treats. The cat won't eat them, so I grind them up into a powder and give him his morning wet food. Only a week has passed, and if the fleas are combed out, then there are no fleas! This is South Florida, flea heaven so I am very happy with this product.
