I lost the curler hooks that came with the bobbins. After I replaced this one, the replacement broke because it wasn't strong enough to support my hair. These two lasted a long time and they can get caught on my hair and I've never had a problem with them. I have enjoyed using them to give my hair a curl boost. I have straight hair and this is very helpful in giving it enough curl. I used it on the eve of the wedding to add volume to my hair before going to the hairdresser. It looked so beautiful that even my cousin asked where she could get some for herself. (I know what I'm getting her for Christmas)
