I bought this sweater to monogram my daughter. When you took it out of the box, it smelled so bad, like steam ointment had been spilled on it, even the box smelled. I don't know what caused it, but another sweater (same brand, different packaging) smelled the same. I've washed, washed then let it dry outside and it worked so it's repairable but it smells bad when you first receive the package.
