This works on wild animals but will not fool anyone.

This works if you only want to capture wild animals. I pointed it at the front door hoping to snap a picture of the man knocking on my door in the middle of the night. The rectangular array of red LEDs at the top light up like a Christmas tree so you don't fool anyone. Now the person is pounding the back of the house or the other side of my single out of camera range. I could take two more cameras and cover the whole house. At least I'm retired and got up to pee a few times during the night, so it's not as bad as you might think. Initially I set the sensitivity to normal and all I got was a few branches nearby blowing in front of the camera. I installed it in pine. You have to set it to a high sensitivity for it to hit something about 40 feet away as my front door is made out of pine. I was able to photograph several cats roaming around at night and the neighbor's dog who is sometimes released out of necessity. I set it to take 3 shots in a row and then wait 5 seconds for the next trigger. I have a 32GB San Disk so I can take over 16,000 JPG photos if I set the size to 1.6MB per photo. Rain can trigger it, but snowflakes trigger it. I took over 2500 photos of snowflakes during the last storm we had on January 13, 2018. The good news is that while it dropped to minus 14 degrees Fahrenheit, it didn't destroy the internal AAA alkaline batteries, which are rated to operate from 0 to 138 degrees. The camera itself is designed to work from -22 to 158 degrees. The first photo I posted is of a cat on my patio. The second photo is the neighbor's dog. The third photo is one of over 2500 photos I received from the last snowstorm.
