This cable offers excellent value for money. The ends of the fork are made entirely of metal. The nylon cord flexes well and withstands my kids' abuse. The main reason for the purchase was the L-shaped USB-C connector (see picture), which prevents the cable from twisting. It also prevents damage to the iPad's charging port if the iPad is carelessly leaned on its side during connection. I was concerned if the cable was deep enough to fit my thick iPad case. Yes! it does. Last time I made sure it was a real data cable to sync my iPad to my old computer via the USB-A ports and that's fine too. It will also charge using older Apple-supplied plugs with USB-A ports, albeit a bit slower than the USB-C power connector on the Apple iPad Air 4th Gen. This cable is way better than any cable Apple has ever shipped . with your phones/tablets. Highly recommended!
