Good basic motorized turntable, but unnecessarily bright side marker lights shimmer at the top

I would change a few things. First, it's a very bright light from the side of the control button, spreading sideways and upwards, rather than just leaving it blank and dull on the platter. Too bright indicator lights are unnecessary, and flooding of light disturbs the cleanliness of the top. Second, I just want more speed options. I understand given the price it's not included but that would make it really great. The backlighting of the side control buttons is very annoying and completely unnecessary. Otherwise simplicity and simple design was what I wanted. Thank you for reading.
