It's not a gaming monitor, but most of us don't care. This is a 1080P monitor, so it is what it is. It looks nice because it has a thin bezel and smaller footprint than many monitors of this size, giving it a nice look, and it has a smaller footprint than many other monitors of this size. It's lightweight, runs very cool, and is energy efficient so it doesn't radiate a lot of heat, which is a plus in the summer. I don't usually like HDMI because it limits the screen resolution to 1920x1080. I think it was an outdated and restricted spec when it was released. All decent PC graphics cards use a Displayport, a mini-Displayport, USB-C or the old but workable DVI-D and dual DVI-D which supports 2560 x 1600 resolution. This one is a little better than most and really good quality at a great price. This is a decent monitor for most applications. I would buy this again.
