The size chart is misleading

I ordered a size 7 for a 9 year old but they are so snug he couldn't even put his foot in. I can only assume they are made in Asia where sizes are on the small side. However, the quality was great. ! Good stitching, quality leather, soft fluffy lining - I'm so disappointed I couldn't return them for a larger size.
