I bought two of these, one for me and one for my son. The product works well for the most part, but as mentioned, it's definitely difficult to fill with water. You need a good shelf in the sink and a steady hand to hold the plastic. Another problem is that the machine's scented pad doesn't get wet, so they rely on the scent being strong enough to be absorbed as a scent and then evaporated. Despite their suggestion that only about 7 drops are needed, getting the right amount of oil takes some time so it's not overwhelming or lacking. With only 7 drops we have never felt anything. The second issue is that I decided to call them to make sure because the instructions didn't say if the pad should be wet or dry. Well I had to wait 40 minutes to contact someone to finally find this information. I feel like if I buy a $90 humidifier I don't have to wait as long on the phone. Very poor customer service for me and therefore I will most likely not buy another of these devices.
