GREAT but BREAKDOWN at the neck!

I am a student, graduation. I wore this cape for my Little Red Riding Hood costume at a frat party and I have to say it bothers my neck a lot. Feels like it's too tight and the binding keeps coming undone. I'm 5'1" and 115 pounds and it fits me perfectly and I love the velvet part but the comfort was ah.
