Pros - Shelves are rust-resistant, easy to assemble and install. Cons - The hooks and fabric guides are also plastic and cannot support the same weight as the all-metal version. The shelves are rust resistant as mentioned, but I painted the shelf anyway and sealed the joints with silicone because I want it to last longer than my old shower stall. I recommend this product for durability alone over the all-metal version, but be aware that this is a trade-off in strength. I would also recommend getting a can of good quality anti rust spray paint (I used White Rustoleum paint to match the shelves) and spray painting the metal parts before installing them in the shower. Be sure to seal the joints between the pipe segments as this is where moisture is likely to get in.
