If your little one's feet are small enough, the rough edges on the front of the slippers won't be a problem, but if the feet push in the front is the seam a bit rough. I always check my kids' shoes, socks, and clothing for rough edges or sharp objects because they can't always tell you if something is digging or sticking to them when you put their clothes or shoes on. I gave the product one star because where the upper meets the sole of the slipper, the two pieces are not properly finished leaving a rough, slightly sharp edge. In addition, the memory foam feels comfortable, while the outer material feels soft and velvety and the blue has a nice dark blue hue.
