Review on ⌚ Timex Women's IQ+ Move Smart Watch Activity Tracker Set by Chris Wagner

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Nice watch, terrible mobile app, useless as an activity tracker AND watch

I read all the reviews and decided to take a chance and buy this watch. In the end, I didn't care how my old activity tracker looked except for the dust. While I lacked visual evidence that I was moving more, I didn't care about the bells and whistles I wouldn't have with this watch, I took a chance. I immediately found out what other buyers had - upon arrival the watch had such a low battery that I couldn't set it until I replaced it. So I spent $28 at the jeweler's for a new battery and brought it home. I then tried all the other reviewers' suggestions to no avail. I also went to the Timex website for help and suggestions on how to solve this problem - the customer service reps listed suggestions so basic they reflected the exact same information as the manual, basically useless. It appeared as if their answers had been cut and pasted right FROM the manual, the actual wording was identical. Also, the two employees I chatted with (I got disconnected once) said completely different things and neither of them helped. A nice watch if you don't expect it to act as an accurate watch or activity tracker. He returned with sad resignation. Don't get your hopes up guys. Although I was refunded the actual purchase price, the money spent on the battery is non-refundable. Timex should stop selling these watches unless they invest in a mobile app update -- anything else just perpetuates the public's ongoing dislike of Timex products. I know that after this experience I will not buy again.
