In the 90's I wore Tevas almost every day. loved her. I thought it would be a good balance between the older college lifeguard I once was and the forty-something mom she is now. They're a little dressier than the standard Tevas and can pass for "strap sandals" in a pinch. But they are tighter than I would like and don't adjust like my Tevas from yesterday. I don't have wide feet, but they are wider than normal. I have a slightly high arch and a larger foot if that makes sense. If you have a wide foot, don't even try them. I can barely wear them and love the support, but at the end of the night the straps dig into my toes. I was hoping they would stretch with use, but so far they haven't. I can try moistening them and drying them in the mold to give me extra wiggle room. I was a bit sad that my adult Tevas weren't as comfortable as I remembered.
