At least it makes me feel safe
It's thin but lets air through on flat surfaces which is an added bonus. The part where the lock attaches sticks out, so all you have to do is point north on your, say, bookshelf, and you're done. If you have a computer and can work with it, then this "inconvenience" is not a problem. I stay in hotel rooms a lot (over 49 weeks a year) and they don't always have a safe. At least I hope someone doesn't steal my computer when I use this.
