We wanted to love these shoes! Every member of our family has worn Saucony shoes for the past 5 years and has worn them well. We hoped to get the same satisfaction from them again for our 11 year old son. He is strong with broad feet. They fit very well and he was so happy. They arrived on time and he carried them to school for three days. (Monday, Tuesday and today.) Today my son showed me the wear and tear on this brand new pair of shoes. It's terrible! It is unacceptable for this to happen over such a period of time. His last pair of shoes (New Balance) are over a year old and they still wear well. If it hadn't grown dramatically, we wouldn't need new shoes by the end of the school year. Buyer warning! Now we're sending them back.
