I don't play soccer, travel to Appalachia or go to weddings in these spa slippers. I HAVE a nice pair of slippers with plush cushions, arch support and thick soles. These slippers get messy if I put them on right after my daily shower. The floor gets messy if I don't. All are made of cotton - breathable and absorbent. They're thin enough to dry quickly between showers. You wash well. Slightly tumble dry. Then stretch again. They are well made and sit comfortably. They are (at least) two layers with a sewn-on braid at the top. The insole is also terry cloth. I wear shoe size 7.5-8. The size that fits up to 7.5 fits comfortably. It stays without dangling and is not too tight. They are perfect for what I was looking for. Perfect for getting out of the shower, getting out of the pool or hot tub, or taking with you on vacation. The price is quite reasonable for the intended use. I bought blue, the color is saturated but not too bright. I love them and I think most people who use them as spa slippers for their intended purpose will find them perfect. The negative reviews seem to come from those who were looking for everyday slippers without paying the regular price. for her. I've searched and found these to be the cheapest spa slippers. I used and washed them after my daily shower for several weeks. Then put on shoes or indoor shoes when my feet are completely dry. Upset.
